Magic is real. So is Magick.
I’m a believer in magic of both sorts.
I’m a believer in the fantastical.
I’m a believer in the supernatural.
Every time a writer weaves words and visions and feelings, new worlds are created.
That’s magic.
Every time a reader reads the writer’s words, the world comes alive in her imagination.
That’s magick.
An artist transforms dreams into something tangible.
That, too, is magic.
I’m also a seeker.
Of knowledge.
Of truth.
Of dreams.
Of my own destiny.
I write because I must.
The people I see in my mind, the voices I hear in my head, don’t allow me to stop.
That’s what a storyteller does. The compulsion to tell a story is in the blood. It’s certainly in mine.
I write because I enjoy it.
The process is transformative and entertaining – for both the writer (me) and the reader (you).
From a very young age, I’ve written. And from a very young age, I’ve also connected with the otherworldly. Strange events, weird occurrences, and uncanny coincidences were always – and still are – a part of my life. That, too, is in the blood. So, with not much of a leap, I’ve married the two. Writing urban fantasy and supernatural suspense (with that kiss of romance) for the Young Adult as well as Adult audience is my passion.
